THE DEMAND FOR ZONING BY THE NORTH

It is no longer news that 150 distinguished leaders and elders from the northern region of Nigeria met last week and insisted that power must be zoned back to the north by next year and warned President Goodluck Jonathan and any other southern aspirant that may be interested in running for the Presidency not to do.

THE BITTER TRUTH, THE WORDS OF THE SULTAN AND THE FEUDAL STRUCTURE.

FROM FAVOUR AFOLABI TO CHIEF FEMI FANI-KAYODE. "I believe we can build the "PDP setting of the future," today, the PDP remains the only truly represented party in every nook and cranny of Nigeria; we MUST build such a platform of like minded Nigerians to help in providing the kind of developmental leadership that we desire; yeah, I am aware that that the North has ruled the country for 48 years (plus the 8 year Obasanjo reign as you described it) in much the same way that the "Whities" have ruled the USA forever before Obama. So when would the Blacks/Hispanic/Asian-Americans/Jewish-Americans, et al have their own full cycles at the White House? Probably never; This presents us with the biggest lesson from the Obama victory, he didn't run a "Black" but "American" Campaign; the Jesse Jackson & Co. before him who initially wrote him off apparently didn't learn from History; they got stuck in History.

RE: Is El Rufai Fighting for Political Relevance?

by Kingsley Lington Ighobor. Modern Ghana, June 22, 2010 I usually do not respond to articles, especially of Ike Ugwu's sort, because I think that a lot of what is written about certain individuals in Nigeria is gibberish, and I do not intend to be bundled into that bandwagon. The propensity to eat up our heroes is the bathos of our times, and it appears that is what Ike, perhaps inadvertently, is promoting by his rather visceral article and his conclusions on Mr. Nasir El Rufai.

Femi Fani-Kayode: Julius Malema’s “kill The Boer”.

Elendu Reports, June 14, 2010 by Femi Fani- Kayode. Julius Malema, the President of the Youth League of the South African ruling party, the African National Congress, has become a topic of heated discussion throughout the capitals of the world today mainly due to his deep hatred of the white South African Afrikaneer population and for his resurrection of an old ANC war song that was very popular amongst black South Africans during the days of the struggle against apartheid and white minority rule. The song openly calls for the mass murder of the white population in South Africa,

Femi Fani-Kayode: Ishaq Akintola, Ahmed Sanni, Islam and Child Sex.

Modern Ghana, June 12, 2010 By Femi Fani- Kayode. According to Sheik Ishaq Akintola, the leader of a well-known Nigerian Islamic organisation called MURIC, no less than one million Muslims intend to march to Abuja and storm the National Assembly in order to register their strong protest against the "persecution" of Senator Ahmed Sanni, the Yerima of Bakura and the man who introduced criminal sharia law into northern Nigeria when he was governor of Zamfara state approximately ten years ago. Akintola and his MURIC claim that there is absolutely nothing new and nothing wrong with the 50 year old senator having carnal knowledge of a 13 year old Egyptian girl after paying one hundred thousand dollars "for her" to her parents in Cairo. Apparently the senator was so delighted with his latest acquisition and he so enjoyed the services that she provided that he then smuggled her into Nigeria where he promptly and secretly "married" her in an Abuja mosque.

The Ephemeral Thoughts Of Lesser Men

Nigerians Abroad, June 8, 2010 By Femi Fani- Kayode. As times and seasons change, so do the thoughts of mortals and lesser men. Yesterday’s heroes become today’s villains and today’s villains become tomorrow’s heroes. Men worship the powerful and mighty and those that have been blessed with good fortune yet they despise and pour scorn and contempt on those that have fallen by the wayside and those that appear to have no future and no tomorrow.

SHOULD WE BE NIGERIANS BEFORE BEING NORTHERNERS AND SOUTHERNERS?

"...We can't keep feeding the philosphy of two Nigeria's and expect to make progress. Consider this-how can you make progress with your brother when he is pulling in one direction and you the opposite direction? If the old guard have chosen that destiny for themselves, the youth ought to chart a new course. You shouldn't be a Northerner or Southerner first. You must be a Nigerian first. That's how to build a country." -- Nasir El Rufai, Facebook, June 2010

WHO KILLED SIR TAFAWA BALEWA?.

Modern Ghana, September 6, 2010 by Femi Fani- Kayode. Before reading my essay may I crave your indulgence and ask you to read through Chief Mathew Mbu's comments which are provided on this link: The Nation This is why it is so important for us to learn about our history properly, to read as widely as possible and to do our own research before we just accept and believe whatever anyone may tell us about our past. Chief Matthew Mbu is a man that I have tremendous respect and affection for and he is undoubtedly one of our most eminent elder statesmen and nationalists. He is also a father to me so I do find it difficult to say what I am about to say. Yet the truth must be told no matter what and no matter whose ox is gored. And the truth is that the elder statesman's assertion that Sir Tafawa Balewa, the former Prime Minister of Nigeria, was not murdered by soldiers and that he in fact died of asthma is a sordid and shameful attempt at distorting history. It is nothing but historical revisionism.

Fani-Kayode, the EFCC and The Court of Appeal.

Modern Ghana, May 29, 2010 Dayo J. Atofolaki In view of the amount of disinformation and lies that is being peddled around about the facts of the case between the EFCC and Chief Femi Fani-Kayode which is presently being heard in the Federal High Court in Lagos I believe that it is important that a few clarifications are made about the facts of that case so that people are not misled. In July 2008 the EFCC charged Chief Fani-Kayode with embezzeling 19.5 billion naira Aviation Intervention Fund and when it was clear that there was absolutely no evidence to sustain that charge and that in fact he not only left 7.2 billion Naira in the Aviation Intervention Fund account but that he was actually the one that investigated and exposed the fact that the 6.5 billion Naira Safe Tower Project money had gone missing from the Aviation
