My beloved Prince and dearest son,
as you celebrate your tenth birthday today I want you to know that you are the greatest blessing that the Lord has ever given me.
You have brought me nothing but joy over the years and I am so proud of you.
As each day passes you evolve and blossom more and more into the great, kind-hearted and wonderful man that the Lord has destined you to be.
You come from a great, strong and proud lineage and I have no doubt that you will do us proud by carrying on where we left off and that you will keep the flag flying after we are gone.
This is a great honor and responsibility that the Lord has bestowed on you but I know you will do it very well and bring honor both to His name and ours.
All of us, including your mother, Mama Aragorn, your siblings, Ragnar, Aiden and Liam, your Aunty C, Mama Remi, your big sisters, your numerous uncles and aunties and everyone in our home and family love you and cherish you so much.
And because you are surrounded by love you are filled with love and I thank the Lord for that.
You are special. That is why we have set this day aside just for you. That is why we give thanks to God for your life and for your monumental achievements and progress.
You were born to be a leader and I thank you for making me, your mother and our entire family so proud.
I look at you and I see nothing but the glory and power of God in and around you.
I thank you for your patience, your courage, your resilience, your strength, your tolerance, your generosity, your faith in me and your mother and for your compassion and love which you share so willingly and gladly with everyone around you.
I also thank you for your faith in God and for believing and treading the path of light in the knowledge that He will never fail you.
Remember His words: that “heaven and earth shall pass away but my words shall NEVER pass away” and never forget that He is a great provider and a strong defender.
Again remember that His words and thoughts for you are for good and not for evil and He will never leave you or forsake you.
As you enter the next phase of your life He will guide you, protect you and bless you beyond measure.
You will live long and prosper in joy, good health, peace and wealth and the Lord shall add no sorrow unto it.
You shall lack no good thing and you shall prosper and flourish in the land. The Lord shall prepare a table for you in the prescence of your enemies, He shall annoint your head with oil and your cup shall overflow.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow you all the days of your life and the Lord will display His splendour in all that you do.
The Angel of the Lord shall watch over you and guard you jealously night and day and He shall cause you to crush your enemies under your feet.
The favour, mercy and love of the Lord shall never depart from you and you shall have favour before men, women and all that matter in the land.
The covenant of the Lord with you and yours shall never be broken.
No curse shall land on you, bind you or hold you down and no evil word, thought, incantation or projection shall affect you because the Lord is your defender and He is mighty in battle.
Today, always and forever the Lord shall be your shield, your glory and the lifter of your head and everything you set your hand to do shall meet with good success.
You shall flourish and excel. You shall be the head and not the tail. You shall be the first amongst equals.
You shall stand out as the beloved of the Lord. The Lord shall trouble those who seek to trouble you.
The Lord shall fight those who seek to fight you. The Lord shall curse those who seek to curse you.
The Lord shall resist and oppose those who seek to resist and oppose you.
The Blood of Jesus shall speak for you and the Holy Spirit shall lead, fill and guide you.
You shall not be scattered, rejected or denied and neither shall you lack any good thing.
That peace which passeth all understanding that only the Lord can give shall be your portion.
Evil and bloodthirsty men shall never see you and neither shall the counsel of the ungodly stand over your life. You shall always be at the right place at the right time and never at the wrong place at the wrong time.
From strength to strength you shall go all the days of your life and your star shall shine brightly.
Permit me to pray for you in Yoruba, the language of our proud ancestors and great forefathers,
