True sovereignty is not about the power you possess but about the absolute control you have over that power.
Restraint, discipline, compassion and the inclination to be kind and merciful to others is the measure and mark of a truly powerful man and a real leader.
Such a man has not only mastered himself but he has also caged his emotions and cannot be easily shaken or moved.

Weak leaders are the opposite: they are governed and ruled by their emotions, they are irrational, unpredictable and unstable in all their ways, they lack compassion, they are incapable of cultivatiing any form of empathy for those that are suffering and they are seized and possessed with an arbitrary and tyrannical disposition and a cruel inclination to deny, deprive, destroy and oppress their subjects.
To the weak leader cruelty, wickedness and subjugation is the measure of leadership but to the strong leader mercy, compassion, empathy, wisdom, restraint, the ability to forgive, the manifestation of love and the administration of fairness and justice is the mark of leadership.

The weak leader mocks the circumstances, crushes the spirit and shatters the dreams of the poor, the vulnerable, the helpless and the defenceless.
The strong leader protects, defends, supports, inspires, encourages, stands by them and gives them hope.
As leaders, whether of just our homes and households or anywhere else, we must NEVER forget these lessons: the more power you have, the more restraint you must wield it with.
The greater you are, the more kindness and love you must display.
This is wisdom.
