It is utterly mind-blowing. It is wicked. It is evil. It is unacceptable. How much more bloodshed, carnage, violence, insults and humiliation are the people of the South West expected to take? Soldiers are whipping our people like dogs in the street in order to reinstate those that are killing, raping and maiming them?

On 28th October 2019, Pastor Tunde Bakare said the following,

"Tinubu will give account for all his deeds. He should not be seen as a generous man, he is an integral part of the rot in Nigeria".

This is a robust condemnation of a man that has been variously described as the 'Lion of Bourdillon', the 'Jagaban of Borgu' and the 'Asiwaju of Iragbiji' and the words reflect the utter contempt that Bakare has for him.

It is most disconcerting when a handful of mischievous, reckless dangerous and hopelessly misguided religious zealots and ethnic bigots that ought to know better like the Sokoto-based Muslim Solidarity Forum issue threats and give quit notices and ultimatums to leading members of the Christian community like Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah.

This is disappointing and unacceptable and, if not handled properly, has the potential of leading to a major religious conflagration and crisis. I say this because Kukah is deeply loved by millions from all over the country and the Christian community rever and adore him.
