I've learned that you cannot make someone love you. All you can do is be someone who can be loved. The rest is up to them. I've learned that no matter how much I care, some people just don't care back. I've learned that it takes years to build up trust and only seconds to destroy it. I've learned that it's not what you have in your live, but who you have in your life that counts. I've learned that you can get by on charm for about fifteen minutes, after that, you'd better know something.
Unless you have received a fathers unconditional love, you may find it hard to give it to your own children. Unless you have been in receipt of unconditional love you may never recognise it, you'll despise it, or just malign it. Unless you have looked into the eyes of unconditional love you will fear it, hide from it or confuse it ..with something so ugly that only you can imagine. For the 'Aderogba's' of this world it is so.
The pen, the sword...I say the mind! It is that deep and mysterious place that reminds one of the black hole we all hear of in space. I wonder what colours our minds would be if we could give it such descriptions? Would it be white? black? red? I guess we would never know...
