I read the response of the APC through it's spokesman Lai Mohammed to my allegations and assertions in the interview that I gave to Channels TV on 30th June 2014. The said response appeared in a number of newspapers on 1st July 2014.

There are three things that Ayo Fayose told me during a lively and prolonged discussion in my hotel suite at the Ideal Nest Hotel in Osogbo, Osun state a few months ago. The first was that I would eventually leave the APC and that the reason that I hadn't left at that time was because I didn’t know them yet.

At this juncture permit me to share the words of my friend Mr. Dickson Igwe. On June 16th 2014 he wrote the following on my facebook wall:

On June 11th 2014 the Governor of Borno state in north-eastern Nigeria, Mr. Kashim Shettima, warned that Boko Haram may soon extend it's operations to the southern part of our country. Four days later, on June 15th, his prediction began to unfold when two disturbing incidents occured.

On June 11th 2014 in the Punch newspaper, the former Chief Justice of Nigeria and the Chairman of President Goodluck Jonathan's ongoing constitutional conference, Justice Idris Kutigi, said the following:

Since I left the Almajiri Peoples Congress they have been insulting me and getting their Haramite footsoldiers to attack me in the newspapers and on the social media with all manner of press statements, sponsored essays and paid adverts.

I declared for the APC in June last year in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti state well before the party was registered by INEC. I formally joined the party, amidst great pomp, ceremony and fanfare, on 7th February 2014 in my hometown Ile-Ife and I registered my membership with the party on that day.
