"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to Heaven, we were all going direct the other way"- Charles Dickens, 'A Tale Of Two Cities', 1859.

Such was his shock and anger at the turn of events that the real estate magnate and owner of the resplendent, opulent and stunningly beautiful 'Amen Estate' on the outskirts of Lekki in Lagos, Babatunde O. Gbadamosi, wrote the following:
A NATION OF BELIEVERS
In both 2008 and 2012 I warned the world and particularly Africa and the Middle East about the evil of Barack Obama. No-one listened.
In 2011 I warned the world about the consequences of removing Muammar Gadaffi for Africa and the Middle East. No-one listened.
In 2015 I warned the world and Nigeria about supporting and electing Muhammadu Buhari as President of our country. No-one listened.
Two days ago Vice President Yemi Osinbajo said the following.
"100 billion naira and $289 USD million was withdrawn in cash by President Goodluck Jonathan two weeks before the presidential election ostensibly for security. This was unprecedented stealing and it led to the economic recession that we are suffering today".
Many years ago the irrepressable Hausa leader who hailed from Kano and who was the founder of the radical leftist political party called NEPU, Mallam Aminu Kano, said,
"Until the Fulani Emirs are toppled northern Nigeria will not know peace".
Love God with all your heart and soul. Resist the devil and his agents and emissaries. Fight against evil. Stand up for the weak, the vulnerable, the persecuted and the oppressed. Speak truth to power.
Bless the poor. Be merciful to the young. Defend the old. Challenge the rich. Let courage and faith be your shield.
The greatest crime that man has inflicted on his fellow man in the last 50 years is the evil concept of unrestrained globalisation coupled with the incremental evolution, unacceptable espousal and wholehearted acceptance of the artificial, man-made, mongrel nation-state which is made up of ethnic and religious incompatibles.
Yet thankfully there has been a backlash.
The forces of the far-right and ethnic nationalism are marshalling and are on the rise all over the world. Consequently a laudable, unprecedented and irresistable counter-offensive has begun.
"Who is this uncircumcised Philistine that has chosen to defy the armies of the Living God? You come against us with Fulani herdsmen, Boko Haram, Arewa Youths and your brutal army but we come against you in the name of the Lord of Hosts, the God of the Armies of Israel.
I am a product of divine prophecy and a fulfilment of God's promise. I am the axe that cuts down the evil tree. I am the wind that parts the dark waters. I am the shining light that resists the terrors of the night. I am the warrior that never falters or falls in battle.
Given the unfolding events in our country I believe that this is the time for deep introspection and sobre reflection.
